1846 Braided Hair Cent. N-8. Rarity-1. Small Date. MS-65 BN (PCGS). Frosty chocolate-brown surfaces, the color choice and even across both sides. Sharply struck and has abundant cartwheel luster in the fields. A glass reveals only microscopic abrasions and a few minor spots in the obverse fields. Excellent overall appearance and surface quality commensurate with the Gem grade. Grellman die state (b). Provenance: From Abe Kosoff's sale of the Lee G.
