1857-O Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-1. Rarity-3. MS-62 (PCGS). OGH. This warmly toned half dollar exhibits vivid undertones of cobalt blue and golden-apricot on dominant olive-gray patina. It is boldly to sharply struck with appreciable satin luster. The lowest mintage (818,000 pieces) issue of the late date New Orleans Mint half dollars, the 1857-O is scarce to rare in all Mint State grades. Provenance: From the Steve Studer Collection.
