Lot Description

Brilliant, pearly luster dominates the centers of both sides, while the peripheries display rich toning from old time album storage. The devices are well struck up and the surfaces are expertly preserved. PCGS 88, NGC 49, CAC 25. Only 7 examples are assigned the “+” grade. The most recent to sell at auction brought $1,116 in September 2015, and PCGS Price Guide lists the value at $1,250. A very pretty coin destined for a fine set of Barber dimes.
