A delightful Superb Gem with swaths of iridescent sunset-gold, powder blue deep rose and reddish-apricot toning adorning the obverse. The reverse, on the other hand, is brilliant. Fully struck, as befits the issue, with equally full luster in a smooth satin texture. High quality Carson City Mint Morgan dollars such as this 1881-CC are scarce from a market availability standpoint, especially with the vivid multicolored toning offered here.
