1956 Jefferson Nickel. MS-67 FS (PCGS). Pretty pinkish-apricot iridescence adorns satiny, serene-looking surfaces. The 1956 is among the more readily obtainable 1950s nickels in the certified Full Steps category, although most collectors will have to settle for a coin that grades no finer than MS-66 FS. At the Superb Gem level this sharp and inviting example is a Condition Census rarity worthy of inclusion in the finest Jefferson set. Provenance: From the George "Buddy" Byers Buckeye Collection.
