- An evenly patinated, bright honey-olive example of this historic, eagerly sought, yet challenging New Orleans Mint gold issue. Winter-2 is the more frequently encountered variety of the 1854-O $3, identifiable by an attenuated ribbon at the base of the wreath, the result of die polishing.
