Lot Description

Hallowed Ground Collection. Overton-124 (R.5). Despite heavy wear, this rare die-marriage remains generally easy to attribute: a point on the first star penetrates the nearby curl, and the final star pokes into the end of the bust. O-125 has the same obverse, but on the reverse, a leaf rests beneath the space between TE. Stars on the left obverse have merged into the rim and the reverse displays correlative merging of various peripheral legends into the rim.
