- 1871 Liberty Seated Half Dime. Proof-66 (PCGS). CAC.
Few 1871 half dime survivors can match the high technical quality and outstanding eye appeal of the present coin. This outstanding Gem Proof displays razor-sharp definition on all design elements and nicely mirrored fields under shades of lime-gold and deep crimson-red on the obverse; the reverse shows peripheral colors of lime-green and gray with mottled russet at the center. A truly outstanding example and one of just 960 proofs coined.
