Lot Description

1943-S Washington Quarter. FS-501. Trumpet Tail S. MS-64 (PCGS). The upper serif is pointed downward, not up as on the Large S varieties common to this date. Much rare than the 1941-S "Trumpet Tail" variety. A rarely seen Mint State example with bright, lustrous surfaces.
