A fabulous old friend from our sale of the D.W. Collection, October 2017, lot 48. This pristine SUPERB GEM is totally original. Boasting a strong golden luster on both sides of this sharply struck example. The eye appeal is marvelous! PCGS 17, NGC 32, CAC 15. At the time we sold this coin, it was tied for FINEST graded; in the last five years a few have graded MS67+ and a single coin graded MS68. The most recent example sold for $4,560 in February 2020 and this coin realized $6,463 in the above mentioned auction.
