Lot Description

1767-A French Colonies Sou, or 12 Deniers. Paris Mint. Breen-701. RF Counterstamp. Fine-15 (PCGS). CAC. OGH. Deep golden tan with some chestnut toning in the protected areas. RF counterstamp centrally placed and sharply implanted, reverse soft at the center as a result, as virtually always seen. Some light reverse scratches near the S in COLONIES, long toned over, are mentioned for accuracy.
