- This is the final date in the Draped Bust half cent series, coinage of which began in April 1808 and amounted to 312,000 pieces when the last delivery was made on June 29. Cohen-2, offered here, is the more readily obtainable of the two overdate varieties for the issue, but of the 650 survivors believed extant (per Bill Eckberg, 2019), few grade finer than VF.
