1821 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-2. MS-63 (PCGS). This handsome piece is warmly toned in a blend of pearl-gray, medium rose and cobalt blue colors, with direct lighting also calling forth antique gold and reddish-apricot undertones. Smartly impressed with bold to sharp design elements and full, uniformly denticulated borders. A full endowment of satiny mint luster rounds out an impressive list of physical attributes. Just shy of Condition Census for the 1821 Overton-107 dies (per the listing in Herrman, Spring 2021 revision), there is much to recommend this vivid example to discerning Capped Bust half dollar enthusiasts.
