1860-O 50c NGC MS65+ DLRC #: 1437551 // PCGS #: 6300 A stunning gem of this better New Orleans mint half dollar struck just prior to the Civil War. If this were a late-date half we'd love it, but to see such pristine surfaces and great luster on a no-motto piece is quite unusual. A razor sharp strike with light golden highlights this coin is a real beauty. NGC was clearly on the fence of giving it the MS66 grade so they opted for 65+. A great coin!
