1862 Gold Dollar. MS-66 (NGC). CAC. The vibrant yellow coloration of this Gem is accented by richer honey patina at the borders. Uniformly sharp with intense satiny luster in the fields. Incredibly attractive in-hand and lacking any notable imperfections. Easily among the finer survivors from a mintage of 1,361,355 circulation strikes, the most generous for this denomination after 1856. Approval from CAC adds additional desirability.
