FROM THE BIG CYPRESS COLLECTION Only 100,000 examples of this early and important Seated Liberty issue were struck, and it is quite scarce at this grade level or finer. Despite the light wear, there is ample mint luster clinging to the surfaces. Light gold and richer toning clings to the devices, which accents the surfaces. The eye appeal is quite pleasing for the assigned grade with a crisp strike and no serious marks. PCGS 26, NGC 15. The most recent example to sell was CAC approved, realizing $3,360 in July 2019. The current Collectors Universe value is $3,500. Scarce finer, this is a great coin for the type or date collector working on an "everyman" set. Cert. Number 39737804 PCGS # 6230
