The silent "stopper" for the series! We are pleased to offer this VERY HIGH END, GEM quality example. The original mintage was only 117, the second lowest of the Proof Indian quarter eagle series. Today it is estimated that 70-90 survive in all grades. As expected, the surfaces are pristine. The Matte texture is clear and there are no shiny spots anywhere. The color is a totally ORIGINAL (so many were messed with because of lack of luster). This one is awesome, with a wonderful pale olive deeper gold color. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is unbelievable! Only 117 Proofs were struck. PCGS 9, NGC 19, CAC 2. Take a look at those figures: that speaks VOLUMES to how these typically come. This is the coin that sold in August 2021 as part of the Castle Pines Collection. The current Collectors Universe value is $45,000. This is the first example we have handled since 2017! Worthy of a great set of Proof gold or a box of 20 very special coins! Good luck. Cert. Number 25522212 PCGS # 7963
