- Just a touch flashy, the fields shine with slightly reflective character but not quite to semi-prooflike extent. This obverse was struck from the die that lacks the line often seen on the neck of many 1873 "open 3" examples, and as a bonus, LIBERTY has been deeply stamped into the headband. A dazzling example, orange-gold and citrus tones interplay on either side.
