1813 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-2. 50 C/UNI. AU-50 (PCGS). The reverse is rotated nearly 90 degrees clockwise in relation to normal coin alignment. An original and attractive piece that exhibits vivid reddish-pink undertones to bolder rose-gray patina. Softly defined in isolated peripheral areas due to less-than-perfect centering of the strike, although we do note considerable sharpness of detail elsewhere. Popular <em>Guide Book </em>variety!
