Lot Description

Extravagant luster for the assigned grade.  Light toning at the peripheries.  The die bulge, mentioned above, is a hallmark of the obverse die (also used on the rare O.107).  Struck from lightly clashed dies, the coin features a balanced strike, nice surfaces and no marks worth mention.  This is a “PQ” AU 53.  Last offered in MB 36, August 2012, lot 32, where if brought $1,422. Estimate: $1,300 to $1,700
