Lot Description

1899 Barber Dime. Proof-65 Ultra Cameo (NGC). Very few coins merit have merited the Ultra Cameo designation at NGC, with just over 2% of <em>all </em>the Proof Barber dimes called Ultra Cameo, a percentage consistent with that seen in other series. This specimen boasts unbroken, sparkly mint frost on the devices of both sides, the fully mirrored fields are noticeably finer on the reverse than on the obverse of this very gently toned Gem.
