Mint State Type 2 twenties are generally scarce as a class. Of the 686,750 struck, today, fewer than 200 have been certified Mint State by either PCGS or NGC. The surfaces of this MS60 show numerous contact marks and under a glass appear choppy, but to the naked eye, the eye appeal is quite nice. A satiny luster glows from below a rich amber-golden color that is original and very pleasing. PCGS 37, NGC 22. The last one to sell brought $3,120 in September 2019. Prior to that, one sold for $4,320 in June 2019. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,250. Quite scarce in MS61 and VERY RARE in MS62 or finer. Cert. Number 37921791 PCGS # 8956.00
