Lot Description

Beautiful reddish-apricot iridescence drifts over both sides of this sharply struck, highly lustrous example. Although the 1862 is one of the more readily obtainable issues of its type in Mint State, the copper-nickel, Oak Wreath with Shield Indian cent is scarce to the rare in the finest grades, as here.
