Lot Description

A mostly golden-gray sheen to the surfaces is interrupted by mottled blue-gray and sea-green highlights at the obverse and reverse rims. The overall definition is uncommonly bold for a mid-grade dime of this early type, the only mentionable softness of detail confined to the central-reverse high point. With no outwardly distracting abrasions, this sharp Fine is sure to fetch a strong bid. The strike is fairly well centered, although the right borders are bereft of denticulation.
