Lot Description

1869 Seated Liberty Dime. Proof-66 (NGC). Vivid olive-apricot, cobalt-blue and charcoal-lavender patina, the reverse the more deeply toned of the two sides. Mirrored fields shine forth nicely as the coin rotates under a light, and more direct angles even reveal somewhat of a cameo "look" to the finish. Very scarce as a date with such expertly preserved, premium Gem surfaces.
