Lot Description

1916 Lincoln Cent. Proof-64 BN (NGC). Brown with traces of bluish iridescence in Lincoln's beard and the fields surrounding, a small area of blue on the reverse covers most of the E of ONE. With a mintage of 1,050 pieces, not many are found that show even this much color, and this one is spot-free and pleasing in every way. Boldly impressed with a die from the new hub showing abundant curls on Lincoln and sharper details on all devices than seen on the earlier Matte Proofs from this series. PCGS# 3324. NGC ID: 22KZ.
