1798 Draped Bust Cent. S-172. Rarity-2. Style II Hair. VF-25 (PCGS). OGH. Bold to sharp detail overall, this coin has the appearance of an EF that was net graded to VF-25 to compensate for a somewhat rough texture to both sides. Medium ruddy-brown patina with light surface build up in isolated areas. The old style PCGS insert uses coin #1431, which is now reserved for the Style I Hair Guide Bookvariety of this issue.
