Lot Description

1862 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-64 Cameo (PCGS). A largely brilliant survivor from a Proof mintage for the date of 550 pieces, the present specimen exhibits lightly frosted motifs against boldly reflective fields and offers a whisper of faint champagne-gold throughout. Other than some light hairlines in the fields, no marks of any great measure can be found. A pleasing coin in all regards.
