- Choice AU 1795 Punctuated Date Half Cent 1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-2a. Rarity-3. Manley Die State 3.0. Lettered Edge, Punctuated Date. AU-55 (PCGS). An attractive deep golden tan specimen with bold design elements and excellent eye appeal. Some scattered chocolate highlights are noted. Choice for the date and grade combination with just a tiny, natural planchet flaw on Liberty's cap, as struck, the only mark of moment. "Punctuation" die flaw between the 1 and 7 of the date plainly evident. Certain to please its next steward. PCGS# 1015. Provenance: From the Wilmington Collection of Half Cents.
