Lot Description

Light dove-gray with traces of deeper toning in some of the protected areas. Pleasing in appearance. A decent strike on Liberty's hair and the eagle, and the surfaces are average or better with a small mark in the right obverse field. Middle die state as usually seen with a minor crack from the edge to Liberty's nose, extending below her chin, and rim crumbling is found around portions of the reverse.
