1783 Nova Constellatio Copper. Crosby 3-C, W-1875. Rarity-3. CONSTELATIO, Blunt Rays. VF-30 (PCGS). Antique copper brown patina blankets both sides of this overall boldly defined mid grade example. The eye is blunt with little detail, but it is well outlined and all other design elements are readily evident. Microscopically rough with light pitting and a few wispy pin scratches scattered about, although the in hand appearance is quite smooth at most viewing angles. PCGS# 807.
