1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-49. Rarity-2. Head of 1794. EF-45 BN (NGC). Medium olive-brown toning yields to hints of lighter brown on selected design high points. Well struck and well centered on the planchet, with smooth, abrasion-free surfaces. The heavy die crack from the upper rim through the left side of E, extending well into Liberty's upper hair detail, is diagnostic of Noyes' Die State B.
