FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION A lovely AU B-1, BB-211. This is a very attractive example of this date and type for the grade. Light, honest wear is seen on the highest points of this sharply struck early dollar. The devices on both obverse and reverse retain bold definition. Some minor lines and ticks, remnants from its brief time in commercial channels during the Jefferson administration, are noted for accuracy. A strong glass reveals some lines from a gentle, ancient wipe, that has long since toned over and has zero impact on the great eye appeal. Ex.
