1897 Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (NGC). CAC. OH. This richly original, breathtakingly beautiful premium Gem obviously spent many years in an old-time numismatic cabinet. The reverse exhibits slightly mottled dove-gray overtones to a base of silver-apricot. The more vivid obverse is truly attractive with cobalt blue and salmon pink peripheral highlights around a golden-olive center.
