1898-O Barber Quarter. MS-63 (PCGS). An uncommonly well struck New Orleans Mint Barber quarter that is also exceptionally well preserved for the 1898-O. Minimally toned surfaces are highly lustrous with a lively satin texture. This semi-key date issue is scarce to rare in all Mint State grades, the typical survivor from a mintage of 1,868,000 pieces well worn. PCGS# 5620. NGC ID: 23YE.
