- 1878 Seated Liberty Dime. Proof-65 * Cameo (NGC). This is a delightful Gem with strong technical quality to match awe-inspiring eye appeal. A definite cameo finish is easily seen on both sides, although what draws our eyes first on the obverse is a bold crescent of cobalt-blue and rose-orange peripheral toning. The reverse is untoned, and both sides are fully struck and expertly preserved.
