1914-S Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (NGC). A generally sharply struck, fully lustrous example with the lightest golden iridescence to otherwise brilliant surfaces. Despite a considerably higher mintage (992,000 vs. 604,000 pieces), the 1914-S is just as scarce as the 1913-S in Gem Mint State preservation and almost equal in high grade scarcity to the more renowned 1915.
