1818 Matron Head Cent. N-3. Rarity-3. Noyes Die State B/A. MS-63 BN (PCGS). CAC. Lustrous deep golden-brown surfaces enjoy bold cartwheel activity and excellent all-around eye appeal. Free of marks visible to the unaided eye, though we note a few scattered marks under low magnification, none of them singularly offensive. Reverse die rotated shy of 180 degrees, final S of STATES at 11 instead of 12 o'clock. Choice for the grade.
