Lot Description

1882 Seated Liberty Dime. Proof-64 Deep Cameo (PCGS). CAC. A glittering white coin with Sierra high mountain frost on the devices surrounded by deep glacial lakes of mirror fields. One small reeding nick near Liberty's arm in the field from a gem grade, otherwise the surfaces are outstanding, and a single nick is hardly worth mentioning in this case. Mintage of 1,100 in proof and perhaps six to 10 have this degree of contrast from that entire issue. A prize for the specialist who appreciates bold contrast.
