1915-S Panama-Pacific Exposition Quarter Eagle. VF-25 (PCGS). CAC. Deep golden-orange surfaces. A well-worn specimen, no doubt a pocket piece as this issue seldom saw circulation unless extreme economic distress was at play -- even then this curious design type would have been snatched out of circulation by an attentive collector, bank teller, or other business person who had the equivalent in trade in his or her pocket, well before it wore down to VF.
