Lot Description

1767-A French Colonies Sou, or 12 Deniers. Paris Mint. Breen-700, Vlack 1-A. No RF Counterstamp. EF-40 (PCGS). 178.9 grains.Pleasing chocolate brown with a hint of harmless verdigris at the base of the obverse, more so across the reverse. Some faint granularity is present on the reverse, most notable in the northeast quadrant. Far sharper and more appealing than typical examples.
