- 1814 Classic Cent. S-295. Rarity-1--Double Struck--Good-4 BN (NGC). Evidence of the error is most dramatic around the reverse periphery, where two sets of lettering is discernible for much of the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Evenly toned in dark-brown patina, with surfaces that are generally smooth for a Classic Cent that saw this extensive circulation.
