FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION A pleasing and CHOICE N-2. Steely brown and olive-tan patina is boldly accented by a glittery underlying cartwheel luster. Hints of gold blooms in the protected areas of the devices. The eye appeal is wonderfully original. PCGS 18, NGC 1, CAC 3. The other two CAC coins were from the July 2015 sale of the Twin Leaf Collection, realizing $3,818 and $4,406. Over half a decade without an example appearing in auction, this CHOICE CAC approved piece will certainly challenge the current PCGS value of $4,250.
