Lot Description: WHAT A STUNNING CAMEO GEM! We do not see GEMMY black and white crisp Proofs like this any more! Why this coin did not receive a deep cameo designation is a mystery to us! The mirrors enjoy 100% clarity. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. The flash is bold. Exceptional black and white contrast. Razor sharp motifs are graced by thick mint frost. The eye appeal jumps out at you! 930 were minted. PCGS 4, NGC 14, CAC 4. There are possibly ONLY 4 pieces graded higher at PCGS. This is the ONLY PCGS CAC piece to ever sell at auction (it brought $5,750 in May 2021). Forget published prices. We do NOT see anything similar on the market anymore.
