- 1796 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-61, B-4. Rarity-2. Bowers Die State I. Small Date, Large Letters. EF-40 (NGC). This handsome piece offers full originality in a Small Eagle Draped Bust Dollar. Most areas exhibit warm lavender-gray patina, although we do see variations to the color in the form of pale-silver tinting over the upper obverse. A more-or-less faint planchet streak (as made) is also noted for the left-central reverse. Boldly defined with only light, evenly distributed wear that is hardly significant at the EF grade level.
