R-7-. 7-12 Minted. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Bold mirrors beam from all over and are totally “in your face” with strong glassy reflectivity, great clarity, and cleanliness. Only when using a strong glass can you find a microscopic tick or two. PCGS was pretty tough on this coin. Both sides show a beautiful brown/blue/gold color. Miss Liberty and every detail are thickly frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 2, NGC 0. We know of NONE graded higher. Mr. Simpson paid $3,800 for this coin as part of the huge pattern collection in 2008. We agree it is worth at least that today! Patterns like this are so undervalued. PCGS # 60980 Cert.
