1898 Liberty Head Half Eagle. MS-63+ (PCGS). CAC. Sharply struck with frosty, attractively original surfaces in light rose-gold. The 1898 tells a familiar story for a higher mintage Philadelphia Mint half eagle issue from the 1890s: readily obtainable in lower grades yet scarce to rare beginning at the higher Choice Mint State levels.
