1870-CC Liberty Seated Silver Dollar. OC-1. Rarity-4-. Wide CC. EF-40 (PCGS). This pleasing piece exhibits a moderate overlay of argent-gray toning with several gold accents here and there. The fields are virtually untroubled - a rare attribute in a circulated silver dollar of this type. The detail is impressive for the assigned grade, with considerable boldness to the finer elements of the reverse design. The 1870-CC is the quintessential CC-Mint type candidate in this series, and we anticipate considerable bidder interest in this bold EF survivor.
