1864 Silver Three-Cent Piece. Proof-64 (PCGS). CAC. Richly toned in dominant pearl-gray with steel-olive outlines to many of the design elements. Popular as a Civil War issue, the Proof 1864 is also in demand due to the low mintage status of the year's circulation strike silver three-cent piece. Provenance: From the Jerome S.
