What an AMAZING three cent nickel! It is an honor to be able to offer this FINEST PCGS GRADED DCAM 1870 again. It is an old friend, which we have offered in Regency Auction XIX and XXII. The mirrors are deep and clean, and can be seen from across the room. They offer crystal clear reflection with no frost or haze. The devices are expertly rendered and beautifully frosted, providing much contrast in the highly reflective fields. There is a tiny lint mark behind Liberty's head and a small break in the thick frost. The reverse is slightly rotated. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 2, NGC 0, CAC 2. This is the ONLY PR66+ DCAM at PCGS and it is NOT the PR66 DCAM sold in November 2014. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $13,500. We sold it for $12,338 in July 2017.
